Security

  • Residential Property Security Preferred, but will consider all options.

Maximum Loan Amounts

  • Max Loan Amount $50,000 (A Deed of Priority may be required. We may also consider lending higher amounts subject to a low LVR)

LVR

  • Maximum of 70%.  This is based on the sum total of all facilities/limits held with 1st mortgagee (together with applicable break costs) and Basecorp Finance’s proposed advance.

Loan Term

  • Interest Only, Part or Fully Capitalised Interest
    • 1 - 12 months (Rights of renewal for a further term can be included if required to provide the borrowers comfort)
  • Principal & Interest (P&I)
    • 6 - 60 months

Credit Criteria

We will consider the following:

  • Adverse credit (to a point!)
  • Mortgage and/or Rates arrears
  • Property Law Act Notices

Servicing

  • Ability to service to be provided if not a capitalised advance
  • Exit strategy should be evidenced in most cases
